The 54th Worldwide Movie Competition of India (IFFI) is kicking off at present in Goa. Anurag Singh Thakur, the Union minister for info and broadcasting, will inaugurate the pageant, marking the start with the screening of the British movie Catching Mud, centred round a spouse striving to interrupt free from her legal husband.

The grand opening ceremony guarantees performances by Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Nushratt Bharucha, and an array of luminaries together with Catherine Zeta-Jones, AR Rahman, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar, and Sara Ali Khan. The occasion culminates on November 28 with a closing ceremony that includes performances by Ayushmann Khurrana and musician Amit Trivedi.
